A self-billed e-invoice is a unique e-invoice issued by the buyer rather than the supplier.

This is typically done when the buyer better understands the transaction details, such as the quantity of goods received or services rendered.

The self-billed e-invoice serves as proof of expense for the buyer and is submitted to the tax authority for validation.
