Dear all CCS Newcomers,

Welcome to CCS, a leading Audit Firm in Malaysia! We are delighted to have you join our CCS family and want to ensure a smooth transition into your new role. In line with this, we are excited to announce a two-day Newcomer Onboarding Training held on 24 & 25 May 2023.

At CCS, we understand the importance of equipping our new team members with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The Newcomer Onboarding Training aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our company's values, processes, and best practices. Through this training program, we will cover various essential areas to help you integrate seamlessly into our organisation.

The training sessions will cover various topics relevant to your role at CCS. Some of the key areas we will focus on include:

Assurance 1: Start from the Basic

Understand the audit assertions
Concept of Materiality
Risk Assessment- Sampling Methodology
The basic concept for Designing Audit Procedure
Audit execution
Evidence-gathering activity for different FSLI
Statutory record audit
Review of related party transaction/balance
Assessment of Lease Commitment
Review of Contingent Liability

Assurance 2: Begin with the End in Mind

Analytical Review of different FSLI
Root Cause Analysis
Ratio Analysis
Review of Internal Control and relevant assertion
Walkthrough Test on Internal Control & Test of Control
Review of indirect interest and Case Study
Common Pitfalls on different FSLI
Physical Stock take procedure and Virtual Stock Take Procedure
Stocktake location determination for multiple locations.
System audit on the inventory system
