Mid-Term Review of the Twelfth Malaysia Plan

Malaysia's Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, submitted the Mid-Term Review of the Twelfth Malaysia Plan for 2023-2025 (12MP MTR Report) to the House of Representatives in the Malaysian Parliament on 11 September 2023. This report reviews the progress of Malaysia's plans for the mentioned period.


The Malaysian government has outlined various initiatives and plans to drive economic growth and development in different sectors.


These include focusing on domestic demand, increasing private consumption, implementing taxes to boost fiscal revenue, promoting infrastructure development, improving healthcare services, enhancing the oil and gas industry, strengthening governance in the housing sector, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing renewable energy capacity.


These initiatives aim to improve various aspects of the economy, such as connectivity, healthcare access, competitiveness, sustainability, and ESG practices. Reference:-
